PITSCO Curriculum

OutchaMind Solutions

Every Student, Every Learning Style, Every day

The OutchaMind Campus Clubs program curriculum is designed to inspire academic curiosity, motivate student learning and enhance thinking skills in the areas of science, technology, engineering, and math through the use of rigorous and innovative educational resource materials from PITSCO.

  • Engaging Multimedia Curriculum
  • Relevant Hands-On Activities
  • Student-Directed Learning

OM Campus Clubs is committed to reaching out to youth in the community by offering after school and summer programs that foster academic excellence.  The primary goal is to provide opportunities for academic enrichment through tutorial services for students, particularly those who attend high-poverty and low-performing schools, in order to meet state and local performance standards in the core academic areas ofMath and Science and to also improve student attendance, homework completion, class participation, and social/behavioral interactions. The program encourages students to be lifelong learners and to be successful citizens in their community, school, and work.

By design, the curriculum delivers abstract concepts and methods to students through real world learning experiences, innovative instruction, and hands on activities.  The combination of team based and individualized curriculum ensures success by enabling students to make the connection between the class subject and the world in which they live.

The Synergistic Learning Systems used by OM Campus Clubs programs have beenproven successful at meeting the unique needs of at risk youth in math, science, reading, and language arts. The modules are delivered in the same framework used in more than 4,000 labs across North American since 1989. Students work at their own pace and then in cooperative pairs to comprehend and master previously difficult concepts in the two-cours eprograms.  Facilitators are freed up to spend more one on one time with the students in greatest need of assistance. Along with many schoolsacross the country, we have adopted the PITSCO Modules system as a way to help ensure students are succeeding everyday.
